Alpha Android App

Brightec developed Alpha International's App for the iPhone mobile device. A year on they required a Google Android version of the app to be developed. This would allow users of this popular OS to be able to access the same content as the iPhone users through their mobile device. Brightec took the Alpha iPhone app and redeveloped the same functionality within this app, making changes to the layout of the screens and UI (User Interface) in line with the different standards that are adopted for these devices.

Alpha came to Brightec looking to develop an Alpha iPhone App that would server two main purposes: 1. Allow people interested in Alpha to access details of their local course and information regarding its content. 2. Allow those already participating in the course to engage with the material through their mobile device and stay in touch with the people on their course table. Brightec delivered an iPhone app that included the following features: A searchable Google map of course locations & details; a note taking section; the ability to group contacts from the device into a 'My Alpha Group' group in the address book; course materials and details regarding Alpha International.
