Our release support services

Release support retainers at Brightec are primarily for maintenance work. They ensure we have the time and budget to maintain the app, carry out updates, and perform minor enhancements to improve the app’s functionality and user experience. Here’s what is typically covered:

Release monitoring

We closely monitor all app releases, taking swift action if there is a problem. We typically achieve this through Phased Rollouts (where we release the app to 1% of users to test the waters and then 5% to test again and so on). Monitoring an app’s release in this way means we can deal with any problems swiftly, should they arise.

Early crash detection

We use an alert system that notifies us of app crashes so that we can take appropriate action. We always try to catch the issue before it’s a problem and as a company, we monitor all our releases to ensure an app remains at least 99.5% crash-free.

If an app does experience a crash, we will notify the client with a short report outlining the issue, our suggestion resolution and the time estimate to resolve. We prioritise transparency and honesty with our clients; keeping them fully aware of the details of their app builds their trust in both their product, and us as an agency.

Updates

Whether Google has released the latest Android updates or Apple is rolling out new iOS releases, we make sure these are carried out. We will also manage security updates so that your app stays protected against online threats.

Detailed reporting

We deliver monthly reports detailing important metrics such as engagement level, conversions, satisfaction scores, page clicks, and unexpected errors. We use this information to make timely recommendations to you and valuable enhancements to the app. Having access to these monthly reports shows you how your app is being received and what kind of impact it is having within your industry.

Practical client support

We want you to take full advantage of everything your app has to offer. That’s why we provide tutorials on performance monitoring and Firebase so that you can see the success of your app for yourself.
