Join our award-winning team and shape the future of mobile apps

The Brightec team with their back to the camera

We're hiring a talented Product Manager!

At Brightec, we're not just building apps; we're crafting exceptional digital experiences that have earned us accolades like Dev Agency of the Year, Employer of the Year, and a place on the Top 100 Inspiring Companies Global list.

We work with brilliant clients like Google, Virgin, and Waterstones, and we’re now looking for a Product Manager to help us create the next generation of flagship mobile products.

Why Brightec?

We’ve built a studio people genuinely love working for. Recognised as one of the UK’s best working environments, we prioritise wellbeing, creativity, and a culture where great ideas can thrive.

Our values guide how we work, make decisions, and treat one another:

  • Happy and Profitable – A fulfilled, trusted team is the foundation of our success.

  • Making Things Better – We’re always looking for ways to improve, never settling for “just OK.”

  • Collective Responsibility – We believe in shared ownership, empathy, and working together to do work that matters.

You’ll be joining a team of award-winning designers and engineers, all focused on building world-class digital experiences — and continually learning along the way.

The role: What you’ll be doing

You’ll sit at the heart of a cross-functional team, guiding the product journey from initial idea to long-term success. Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Shape Product Strategy: Define product vision, roadmaps, and goals — balancing short-term needs with long-term direction.

  • Lead Discovery & Planning: Run workshops, research, and scoping sessions that help us understand problems and uncover the best solutions.

  • Translate Vision into Action: Break down big ideas into manageable chunks through clear prioritisation, refinement, and documentation.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers and designers to create product flows, shape technical decisions, and ensure smooth delivery.

  • Monitor Product Health: Track performance using data and customer feedback, and lead decisions around iteration, optimisation, or pivoting.

  • Support Continuous Improvement: Help evolve our tools, practices, and team culture — always making things better.

What success might look like in your first 6 months

  • You’ve helped a client shape and launch a major new product feature.

  • You’ve led a discovery phase that informed a fresh product roadmap.

  • You’ve introduced a new idea or insight that’s improved our internal processes.

  • You’ve built trust with your squad and become a go-to voice in planning and delivery.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years’ experience in a product management or related role. You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Think both strategically and practically — you know when to zoom out, and when to get stuck into the details

  • Can define and manage scope effectively, adapting plans as new information comes to light

  • Have strong refinement and prioritisation skills — keeping teams aligned and focused on what matters most

  • Are curious about technology and systems, and work confidently with engineers to understand constraints and opportunities

  • Know how to gather and interpret data, then use it to guide product decisions

  • Communicate clearly, listen deeply, and bring people together around a shared vision

  • Care about outcomes over outputs — you focus on what makes the product healthier, more useful, and more valuable over time

  • You have clear examples from previous product management of all of the above

We welcome people from all backgrounds. If you see yourself in this and you’re excited by the role, please apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

How we work

We believe great work happens both together and apart. Our hybrid model blends time in our Shoreham-by-Sea studio with flexible remote working, supporting both deep focus and creative collaboration.

This role requires occasional UK travel for client visits and weekly in-person time at the Brightec studio.

When you’re in the studio, you’ll find it’s more than just a place to work. We’re based right on the river’s edge, with stunning views, plenty of natural light, and a calm, creative atmosphere. We’re also just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to reach whether you're coming from Brighton, London, or anywhere in between. And yes, there’s on-site parking too.

You’ll also get dedicated monthly R&D time to explore new tools, ideas, or skills that interest you — because growth isn’t optional, it’s essential.

What we offer

  • £44,000 - £54,000 salary, depending on experience.

  • Bonuses and share options

  • Health insurance

  • Dedicated training budget and monthly R&D days

  • Regular team offsites, socials, and away days
