We believe that a supportive, open and friendly culture is the secret to our success, both for our incredible clients and our team.

So, you can imagine our excitement at being shortlisted as finalists in not one, but two categories at the UK Company Culture Awards: 'Most Innovative Culture' and 'Best Agency to Work For (Small)'.

For us, this isn't just about accolades. It's validation of the hard work and heart we've poured into creating a workplace where people genuinely love to be. In the last year alone, we celebrated five 10-year anniversaries and three 5-year milestones within our team. We're also incredibly proud of our 0% staff turnover in the past 2.5 years.

We are the first to say that we don’t get it right all of the time. We ensure that we have regular moments to reflect and there’s enough flexibility in our processes to change when things aren’t going as well as we had hoped.

Here’s a few things that we have focused on in the last year to keep pushing Brightec to be the best agency it can be:

  • Championing growth: Our Head of Engineering's comprehensive career framework, recognised last year at the awards, ensures our team has clear pathways for long-term development.

  • Doing Good together: We're passionate about giving back, introducing volunteering days that empower our team to make a real impact in our local community.

Even when faced with challenges our team's innovative spirit shines through. Last year our team created the Brightec EAA website, born out of a passion for accessibility and making people’s lives better.

Having recognised a pattern amongst our clients, all within different industries but experiencing similar pain points, we hosted our inaugural Brightec Exchange, an exclusive conference designed to foster leadership growth and connection for our wonderful clients. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from the day has us very excited for the next one later this year. Being shortlisted for these awards reinforces our belief that a people-centric approach isn't just the right thing to do, it's also good for business. We're selective about the projects we take on, ensuring they align with our values and this recognition highlights the tangible connection between our vibrant culture and our ability to innovate and thrive.
