Towers Watson is a global consulting firm. Its principal lines of business are risk management and human resource consulting. Towers Watson partnered with Brightec to produce a Mortality Calculator app for both iPhone and Google Android devices. The 'LifeTime' app uses the device's position to query a database of results, allowing the user to see their likely mortality age based on their postcode and other factors.

Portsmouth County Council required a mobile app to be developed for both Apple iPhone and Google Android devices. The app was to help promote the large number of literary resources, events, media and locations within the City of Portsmouth.

Brightec provided a Content Managed mobile app that allowed them to regularly update the app with the latest content. Content included Events, News and Media items as well as Featured Historical Items and Locations. It also included content managed pages on Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle, both of which have a connection to the City Of Portsmouth.

Brightec have been working with the Brighton Marathon since its first year in 2010. The Brighton Marathon required an iPhone app that would serve two primary purposes: 1. Allow a spectator to access information about the event before and on the day 2. Allow a runner to get their results as quickly as possible after they finished the race The iPhone app that Brightec were able to produce had functionality to aid with both of the above. Firstly, it gave the spectator access to the course map and plotted their current position on the map. It also allowed them to 'follow' the progress of any number of runners, by being alerted when the runner passed various points. The app also approximated where a runner might be and when they might finish the race, so that the spectator had a good chance of seeing them as they ran.

Brightec developed Alpha International's App for the iPhone mobile device. A year on they required a Google Android version of the app to be developed. This would allow users of this popular OS to be able to access the same content as the iPhone users through their mobile device. Brightec took the Alpha iPhone app and redeveloped the same functionality within this app, making changes to the layout of the screens and UI (User Interface) in line with the different standards that are adopted for these devices.

Brightec have been working with Church Of Christ The King (CCK) for many years and were very keen to work with them on their proposed iPhone app project. The app is designed to deliver up-to-date content directly to the device. The content includes promotional links, events, news and media as well as information about CCK. The media section of the app was particularly important and is the most used feature of the app. It allows the user to browse the current audio and video archive from the church and store them onto the device. This means these talks are available to be viewed or listened to offline.
